1 | Large white onion quartered | |
1-2 | Tbsp Avocado oil | |
6 lb | Beef brisket point half | |
2 | Tbsp kosher salt | |
2 | Tbsp black pepper | |
3-4 | Cups beef bone broth |
Step 1 |
Pat the brisket dry and season with the salt and pepper on all sides. |
Step 2 |
Rub mole sauce over the entire brisket. |
Step 3 |
Add avocado oil to the bottom of a slow cooker |
Step 4 |
Add in the brisket, onion, and beef bone broth. |
Step 5 |
Cover with additional mole sauce. |
Step 6 |
Slow cook on low for 5-6 hours or until the brisket is fork tender. |
Step 7 |
Shred the brisket and serve with tortillas and your choice of toppings. |
