icon-toma 1 Jar La Costeña mole sauce
icon-toma 1 Large white onion quartered
icon-toma 1-2 Tbsp Avocado oil
icon-toma 6 lb Beef brisket point half
icon-toma 2 Tbsp kosher salt
icon-toma 2 Tbsp black pepper
icon-toma 3-4 Cups beef bone broth

Directions

Step 1
Pat the brisket dry and season with the salt and pepper on all sides.
Step 2
Rub mole sauce over the entire brisket.
Step 3
Add avocado oil to the bottom of a slow cooker
Step 4
Add in the brisket, onion, and beef bone broth.
Step 5
Cover with additional mole sauce.
Step 6
Slow cook on low for 5-6 hours or until the brisket is fork tender.
Step 7
Shred the brisket and serve with tortillas and your choice of toppings.
