Serranos have the flavor profile of jalapeños, but are much hotter. They're not as hot as habaneros, but they still have a kick that can sneak in if you're not careful.
Our canned whole serranos are great for pico de gallo, salsa, and mixing into guacamole. And, if your local taco shop serves these on the side, you know you've found the authentic place.
Choose La Costeña Serrano Peppers when you want a flavor profile similar to jalapeños, but with more heat. They're a great option for adding a kick to guacamoles and salsas, but be warned... compared to jalapeños, a little goes a long way.
They have zero cholesterol and fat, are low in carbs, and are vegetarian and vegan. You get one dozen 12-ounce cans, each containing about seven servings.
