icon-toma  1 La Costeña Taquera Hot Sauce
icon-toma 1 Can La Costeña refried pinto beans with jalapeño
icon-toma   Frying oil of your choice to make tostada shells
icon-toma 10 Corn tortillas
icon-toma   Flaky sea salt
icon-toma 1 Avocado slices as a garnish
icon-toma 1 lb Ground turkey, chicken, or beef
icon-toma 1/2 white onion, diced
icon-toma 1 Tbsp taco seasoning
icon-toma 1 Tbsp fresh minced garlic
icon-toma   Sour cream
icon-toma   Shredded lettuce
icon-toma   Cotija cheese
icon-toma 1/2 Lime

Directions

Step 1
Pour the canola oil into a large skillet and fry the corn tortillas until golden. Allow the shells to drain on a wire rack and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
Step 2
Heat another tablespoon of oil in your pan and sauté the garlic and onions until fragrant,
about 30 seconds. 
Step 3
Add in the ground turkey and taco seasoning, cooking thoroughly and then set aside. 
Step 4
Add the refried beans to a hot pan. 
Step 5
Add in about 1/2 cup of sour cream and stir until heated through. 
Step 6
Assemble the tostadas. Add a layer of refried beans, then turkey.
Step 7
Add desired toppings, such as shredded lettuce, Mexican crema, hot sauce, and a squeeze of lime.
