  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken, cheese, salsa, jalapenos, and spices.
  2. Spoon a large tablespoon of the mixture into the middle of each tortilla.
  3. Roll the tortillas tightly and secure each with a toothpick or two
  4. In a large saucepan, heat about ¾ an inch of oil on medium heat.
  5. Using tongs, hold the flautas into the hot oil until firm, then release and allow to continue cooking. 
  6. Cook until golden brown, then move to a paper towel lined baking sheet and sprinkle with salt 
  7. Serve warm with desired toppings.

  • Vegetable oil
  • 3 cups shredded chicken
  • 1 cup Mexican shredded cheese
  • ½ cup La Costeña Taquera Salsa 
  • 1 can La Costeña Diced Jalapeños
  • Garlic Salt
  • Pepper
  • Flour tortillas
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Cilantro
  • Guacamole
  • Pico
  • Sour cream
  • Cotija cheese
