  1. In a saucepan on medium heat, add a tablespoon of vegetable oil and the onions. Then add in the black beans and seasoning. Use a potato to masher to mash up about half of the beans and set aside. 
  2. Add more oil to your saucepan and bring the La Costeña Homestyle Salsa to a simmer then remove from heat and set aside or keep it on low heat. 
  3. Fry your tortillas, then fry your eggs sunny side up. 
  4. Assemble by layering the tortillas with black beans, eggs, and salsa. 
  5. Garnish with toppings of your choice.

  • 1 jar La Costeña Homestyle Salsa
  • Vegetable oil for frying 
  • Corn tortillas
  • Fresh eggs
  • Cotija cheese
  • 2 cans of La Costeña black beans 
  • Cilantro 
  • Lime juice 
  • Mexican hot sauce
