| Step 1 | 
 Pour the canola oil into a large skillet and fry the corn tortillas until golden. Allow the shells to drain on a wire rack and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.  |

 Heat another tablespoon of oil in your pan and sauté the garlic and onions until fragrant,  | 
| Step 3 | 
 Add in the ground turkey and taco seasoning, cooking thoroughly and then set aside.

 Add the refried beans to a hot pan.  | 
| Step 5 | 
 Add in about 1/2 cup of sour cream and stir until heated through.  | 
| Step 6 | 
 Assemble the tostadas. Add a layer of refried beans, then turkey.  | 
| Step 7 | 
 Add desired toppings, such as shredded lettuce, Mexican crema, hot sauce, and a squeeze of lime.  |
