Homemade Jalapeño Poppers

Step 1 Preheat the oven to 300°F 
Step 2 Drain, slice open and devein the jalapeños. 
Step 3 In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, breadcrumbs, grated cheddar and garlic. Season with salt and pepper. 
Step 4 Fill the jalapeños with a tablespoon of filling and arrange them in a baking tray lined with parchment paper.  
Step 5 Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly 
Step 6 Garnish with chopped parsley, and serve!


  • 1 can Whole Jalapeños La Costeña 
  • 8oz pack of cream cheese 
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs 
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar 
  • 1 garlic clove, finely minced 
  • 1/2 cup parsley, chopped 
  • Salt and pepper to taste
