Pork Meat Turnovers filled with meat, olives, red jalapeño slices, raisins and almonds?! Yes, Please! These pork meat turnovers, with all of its ingredients, will have everyone licking their fingers clean. Its easy to make, so give it a try.


  • ½ lb. ground pork meat
  • 1 chopped garlic clove
  • 1/4 chopped onion
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 cup seasoned tomato puree
  • 12 La Costeña olives, pitted and chopped
  • 12 La Costena red jalapeno pepper slices
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped raisins
  • 12 almonds, peeled and chopped
  • 1 ½ lbs. puff pastry dough


To make these delicious pork meat turnovers, fry meat with garlic and onion until golden brown. Stir in parsley and tomato puree. Simmer for a few minutes. Add olives, red jalapeño slices, raisins and almonds. Season with salt and pepper and simmer a few more minutes. let cool. On a floured board roll the dough into a rectangle less than 1/4 inch thick, cut into 5 inch squares. Spoon the filling onto each square and fold into triangles, sealing edges with a fork. Place on baking sheets and glaze with beaten egg. Bake until golden brown in a preheated 390 °F oven.
