This pork chops with cheese recipe is sure to please your friends and family. What gives this recipe an infusion of Mexican flavor is that the pork is covered with our delicious La Costeña Taquera sauce.


  • 6 pork chops, pounded
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1/4 chopped onion
  • ½ lb. mushrooms
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup La Costena taquera sauce
  • 7 oz. Oaxaca cheese, shredded


To make this delicious pork chops with cheese, sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. Fry until golden brown on both sides. Remove from pan and arrange in an ovenproof dish. In the same fat, saute garlic, onion and mushrooms. Add white wine and simmer until evaporated. Stir in La Costeña taquera sauce and simmer for 5 minutes. Spread this sauce over the pork and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a preheated 390 F oven until cheese melts.
