Ingredients

  • 1 jar La Costeña Tender Cactus (28oz)
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 4 Tbsp cilantro, chopped
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 can La Costeña Serrano Peppers (26oz)
  • 5 oz crumbled cotija cheese
  • 1 avocado, sliced

How to

Clean the cactus by pouring out the entire liquid and rinsing thoroughly.  Combine La Costeña Tender Cactus, La Costeña Serrano Peppers, tomato, cilantro, onion, vinegar, oil, salt and oregano. Let stand one hour. Transfer to a platter and garnish with cheese and avocado.
