GORDITAS DE CHICHARRON PRENSADO ©

Ingredients:

● 1 lb chicharron prensado
● 1 can LA COSTEÑA CHIPOTLE SAUCE
● 1 cup diced onion
● 1 cup cilantro
● 1 cup sour cream
● 1 cup queso fresco
● 1 bottle LA COSTEÑA GREEN MEXICAN SAUCE
● 1 bottle LA COSTEÑA SALSA TAQUERA
● 2 tbsp lard

Directions:

To make these GORDITAS DE CHICHARRON PRENSADO ©, in a pan over medium high heat add 1 tbsp of lard, when completely dissolved add the chicharron prensado. Fry until crispy for about 5 minutes. Then add about 1⁄2 a cup of LA COSTEÑA CHIPOTLE SAUCE. Preheat a deep pan over medium high heat and add oil. Form masa into round balls and press with hands to form in a shape of a medium pattie. Stuff with chicharron prensado, close to form a ball again and press to shape into a gordita. Transfer the gordita to the pan with oil. Fry each gordita for about 2-3 minutes on each side. When gorditas fried using a sharp serrated knife, split masa shells in half crosswise. Then stuff it with onion, cilantro and queso fresco. Complement with your favorite sauce LA COSTEÑA SALSA TAQUERA or LA COSTEÑA GREEN MEXICAN SAUCE! Enjoy!
