For the meatballs:

  • 12 oz (350g) Ground pork
  • 12 oz (350g) Ground beef
  • ¼ Teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 2 Whole raw eggs
  • 3 Tablespoons of bread crumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the sauce:

  • 8.25 oz (233g) can of Adobo Paste La Costeña
  • ½ Cup of La Costeña Chipotle Sauce
  • 1 12 oz (350g) Can of Fried Tomato Sauce Seasoned
  • 1 Pinch of oregano
  • 2 Cups of water

Serve with:

  • White or red rice
  • 1 20 oz (580g) can of La Costeña Whole Pinto Beans

How to

Mix all the ingredients and pour into a saucepan. When the mixture boils, add the meatballs one by one… and be careful with the hot sauce splashing!

The meatballs:

Mix all the ingredients for the meatballs. Shape into golf-sized balls and place them in the sauce. Cook them for approximately 25 minutes. Serve over rice with a side of Pinto Beans.
